April 2023 Update from Ryan Tanaka on Neuralink, founded by entrepreneur Elon Musk in 2016. The company focuses on developing implantable brain-machine interfaces (BMIs) that connect human brains directly to computers. Neuralink aims to create a high-bandwidth connection between the human brain and computers, allowing for new forms of communication and control. This could enable people to control devices with their thoughts, restore sensory and motor functions for people with disabilities, and even enhance cognitive abilities. My next book is a Novel “The Rise of Ada – Love, Death, and AI” coming out in 2023 is based in part on this technology.
