My Take
Intel’s early adoption of high-NA EUV should, in theory, give it a head start in sub-2nm manufacturing, but execution remains a serious question mark. Without a permanent CEO and a history of strategic missteps, Intel faces an uphill battle to translate this technological lead into a real competitive advantage. If the company stumbles in integrating high-NA into production by 2026, TSMC and Samsung could easily close the gap and leave Intel struggling to catch up once again.
