About Jeffrey
Jeffrey Cooper is a writer and author of the Amazon best-seller “Foot Soldier in the Fourth Industrial Revolution: A Memoir.” His next book is a novel on AI and Robots and will be published in 2024.
Jeffrey worked for nearly a half-century with some of the world’s biggest hi-tech companies, like GE, ABB, and ASML, managing multi-million-dollar projects in finance and supply chain.
In his Amazon best-seller, Foot Soldiers In The Fourth Industrial Revolution, he reveals an engaging story, one that is deeply personal, as well as one about the wild growth and challenges of the ever-expanding worlds of computers and technology.
Cooper retired from ASML, the world’s largest semiconductor lithography company, in 2021 after 14 years of managing strategic supplier accounts for mechatronics, robots, and motion control in the United States, Europe, and Asia, including all strategic matters.
He served Asea Brown Boveri Ltd (ABB) for a decade, first as their director of global supply management (control products) and then as director of US supply chain management services. ABB is the worldwide market leader in industrial automation and power distribution in 100 countries.
The first two decades of his career were spent at G.E. Aerospace, where he served in a number of roles, including senior analyst of a regional electronic center, the manager of a functional accounting division, a compliance training manager, a financial specialist, and a business analyst.
He also worked for two years for the world leader in aerospace, Lockheed Martin, where he was responsible for financial planning for manufacturing a $450 million satellite program in the mid-1990s. Cooper has also been given eight management awards at four companies for generating high-impact results.
He earned a B.A. cum laude in English from Syracuse University and graduated from an MBA equivalent program, the GE Financial Management Program.
